What is a stub model?

The Stub Model is a very simple model which includes only the component definition as well as a list of all inputs, outputs, or bidirectional signals the VC may have. Specific output values can be assigned. This model is beneficial for early stages of concurrent design when the block interfaces have already been defined, but the block itself has not been developed. This stub model usually include a block diagram of the stub model and a table that lists block input, output, and bidirectional signals.
